LET YOU HEART OUT Poem- A grit note on your body- On your dangled lies And on your damped eyes. Well, what are you afraid of? Those palms of hands? Those grim eyes? What does your stride tell you about- Your inner face? Your broken ribs? The strange lines on your wrist? What does stop you? A tempered press against the wall, A tight hold, Or an incoming death. You're a human too, quite a phenomenal one. Then what grieves you? A distorted colour of your lips, A strait of blood draining out, Or an incoming news headline. What do you want? More carcasses of life and death, Rather than ending it. There are hands pressed against your mouth, A rope tied on your neck, simmering around. Then hang yourselves... Choke yourselves... But let the flute of the heart be out.
